How to download TikTok videos
The same three steps work everywhere. Here is what they look like on each device.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open TikTok, find the video and tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open Safari and go to SnagTik.
- Tap the box, then Paste, then Download.
- Choose MP4 and confirm Download. The file appears in Files › Downloads. To move it to Photos, open it and tap Share › Save Video.
On Android
- In TikTok, tap Share on the video and choose Copy link.
- Open Chrome (or any browser) and go to SnagTik.
- Tap Paste, then Download.
- Choose MP4. The video is saved to your Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery.
On a computer
- Open the video on tiktok.com and copy the address from the browser bar.
- Go to SnagTik, paste the link and press Download.
- Choose MP4 or MP4 HD. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
Saving sounds and photos
- For the audio only, use the MP3 page or the MP3 button under any result.
- For photo posts, every image is listed separately, with a button to download them all as one ZIP.
If something doesn't work
It says the link isn't valid
Make sure you copied the link of a single post, not of a profile or a search page.
The video plays without picture on my PC
That is the HD file in H.265 format. Use the standard MP4 button, or install the free HEVC extension for Windows.
The download link stopped working
Links expire after 30 minutes. Paste the TikTok link again to get fresh ones.
